Our Process

Our process is very simple here at North River Church, it is simply to Worship, Grow, and Serve. We believe that this process is an integral part of conforming to the image of Christ, which is the goal here at NRC. We believe that everyone should spend time weekly in corporate worship, a time growing in a small group, and a time serving in a ministry or missional capacity.

We believe in this so much; this is even how we structure our programming. At North River Church we have two worship services at 9 a.m., and 10:30 a.m.. Our Small Groups are called Growth Groups, and are offered during the two morning worship services and throughout the week. Serving at NRC is an awesome experience and we encourage you to serve a semester at a time so that serving is an enjoyable worship experience.

worship

Worship gathers and unites us around our common pursuit of the image of Christ. There’s just something special about being together singing and hearing God’s Word. In worship, you’ll find us using all kinds of methods and styles of worship to reveal the glory of God. We want to invite you to come just as you are and hear practical messages that help you deal with real life issues. We’ll even give you a helpful outline of the main points and Bible passages. It’s our expectation that what you learn on the weekend, you’ll be able to use during the week. We want to help you connect with the personal hope and practical help that God has given us. You can experience worship at NRC through the Online Campus section of this website.

grow

Growth happens in small groups. Our Growth Groups are a place to grow in your walk with Christ, to build relationships with others, to be cared for, and to leverage your gifts and abilities.

We offer Growth Groups at North River as a part of our regular weekly programming: Sunday mornings (9:00 & 10:30) and Wednesday evenings (6:00). In addition to these times, we have groups that meet on Sunday evenings (5:00 & 5:30), Monday evenings (6:00), Tuesday evenings (6:00), and Thursday mornings (10:00).

You can find a list of Growth Groups that are being offered this semester right here on our website.

serve

Serving is the natural effect of worship and growth. We don’t believe anyone has received the spiritual gift of sitting on the sidelines. Serving breeds ownership and when you own something, you belong. We have many opportunities for you to serve on either a Sunday morning or Wednesday Night. If you are interested in serving just fill out this form and we will get in touch with you.
