COVID Update

10/22/2020

Greetings NRC family,

It’s been a little while since we offered a COVID update. So I want to take a minute to share some things we’re seeing, doing, and want to do better as we navigate forward

At the beginning of this month (October), we transitioned back to 2 services (9AM and 10:30).

We did this for a couple of reasons:

First, based on the number attending one service in person, we were unable to observe and maintain appropriate social distancing between one another. Second, two services allowed us to re-launch our kids and student ministries! Landon and Stephen can tell you: the kids and students are excited to be back!

I’m excited to share that since adding our second service back, more people have felt ready to re-gather as a church!

Nearly every week we see someone we haven’t seen in awhile and we’re even beginning to see guests again!

This is super encouraging!

This pandemic has continued longer than any of us hoped or might have expected.

None of us know how long it will continue or what ups and downs lie ahead.

We just know it isn’t over yet.

So we stay vigilant.

For those who are not yet ready to return in person:

Hear me - Please continue to make the best and wisest decision for your situation and circumstance.

You are not forgotten.

You are loved.

You are missed.

And when the time is right, we will welcome you back in person.

But until then, we invite you to continue gathering with us live online during the 10:30am service each week. You can find us on our facebook page: North River Church

We hope you will gather with us and even share the link with friends and family so they can too!

For those who have returned and gather with us person, I am convinced others desire to be  with us...they miss gathering too! For some, they are constantly trying to answer the questions: Am I ready? Is it time? Is it safe?

Let's work together to remove any obstacles and barriers for one another.

For those gathering with us in person, wear your mask.

*This applies to all in-person gatherings: Kids, Students, and Adult Growth Groups.

In addition to these measures, we are ensuring all gathering spaces in our buildings are cleaned and disinfected between meetings. You may notice us wiping (disinfecting) seating and high touch points between the services in the worship center.

Thank you for your support and patience. If you have questions, concerns, or thoughts about any of this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
