Our Process


Our Ministry Process is simple… Worship, Grow, Serve. Three simple words that help us to draw near to Christ and develop us into disciples. Worship is a time for us to corporately come together to investigate God, sing praises, read scripture, and learn from our pastor Nate. Grow is a time to come together in small groups to learn, discuss, and apply scripture to our daily lives while caring for others in our groups. Serve is a time for us to pour into the church and community through different avenues of service.

Our expectation is that all of our members are engaged in the Ministry Process at NRC, and all of our programming is designed to help you do that. All of our programming falls into 4 major times throughout the week: Sunday at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., Wednesdays at 6 p.m. and alternative times throughout the week. Worship is only available on Sundays. Grow and Serve are available at all major programming times.  

Worship

Worship gathers and unites us around our common pursuit of the image of Christ. There’s just something special about being together singing and hearing God’s Word. In worship, you’ll find us using all kinds of methods and styles of worship to reveal the glory of God. We want to invite you to come just as you are and hear practical messages that help you deal with real life issues. We’ll even give you a helpful outline of the main points and Bible passages. It’s our expectation that what you learn on the weekend, you’ll be able to use during the week. We want to help you connect with the personal hope and practical help that God has given us.

Grow

Growth happens in small groups. Our Growth Groups are a place to grow in your walk with Christ, to build relationships with others, to be cared for, and to leverage your gifts and abilities.

We offer Growth Groups at North River as a part of our regular weekly programming: Sunday mornings (9:00 & 10:30) and Wednesday evenings (6:00). In addition to these times, we have groups that meet on Sunday evenings (6:00).

Serve

Serving is the natural effect of worship and growth. We don’t believe anyone has received the spiritual gift of sitting on the sidelines. Serving breeds ownership and when you own something, you belong. We have many opportunities for you to serve on either a Sunday morning or Wednesday Night.
