At North River, your kids are our top priority. In a safe environment, we hope to equip them with Biblical truths that will stay with them for life. Our goal is to partner with parents, invest in your child, and walk alongside them to help them believe in Christ so that we can develop disciples.
On Sunday mornings, children will learn Biblical truths through the chronological curriculum, The Gospel Project. Each lesson teaches children a story from the Bible and how to apply it, ending with the gospel. They are also sent home with an at-home lesson, activities, and a video to help parents disciple their children from home! Parents will also receive a weekly email with this information.
We are excited to welcome you to North River Church! When you arrive, please come to the Kids Ministry building welcome desk, where one of our Check-In Captains is waiting to welcome you and help you get registered. Because your child's safety is our top priority, they will ask you a few short questions, hand you a parent tag, and then walk you to your child's classroom. After worship, please return to the Kids Ministry Building with the parent tag to pick up your child. Only someone 16 years and older with a parent tag may pick up your child, so please make sure to keep it on hand. Welcome to North River Church. We are excited to meet you!
During Wee Worship, preschoolers are equipped with Biblical truths through an interactive lesson that involves all of their senses to help engage all aspects of their brain! They also join Kids' worship for a short music and lesson break-out session before returning to their room for a review of their lesson.
During Kids' Worship, children are equipped with Biblical truths through an interactive lesson in large and small group settings. These truths are reinforced with fun activities and games to help them learn how to apply what they have learned to their lives.
Our Kids ministry (K-5th Grade) will be meeting at Wood Village once a month for Backyard Bible Club. The night will include a Bible lesson, craft, and games! If you would like to serve, contact Sara.
