Baptism and salvation are not the same.
When a believer is baptized (that’s why it’s called “believer’s baptism") they are publicly declaring their faith in Jesus as Savior and Lord.
Baptism tells the story of what Jesus has done in a believer’s life (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Baptism gives us a picture of Jesus’s death, burial, and resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
Once again, baptism doesn’t make a person a believer, it shows that a person is a believer.
Jesus was baptized and commanded us to be baptized, so we follow His instructions and example (Mark 1:9, Matthew 28:19–29).
At NRC, we baptize by immersion - because this is the example we see in Scripture.
We can baptize you on any given Sunday!
